Welcome to the XNA Wiki
XNA Wiki is a place for XNA Game Studio developers to collaborate and share code, techniques, and tutorials to aid in the pursuit of game development for all. Sharing of code is highly encouraged so that we, as a community, can have a central repository for reusable code for everyone to access.
Currently, this wiki is under lock and key to combat spam. If you are interested in contributing to the contents please reach out to the WebMaster
If you are interested in a short, and somewhat intense, introduction to XNA, its capabilities and so on you may find the AppHub-GameDevelopment page useful.

Latest News & Notes===== 08:30, 22 Feb 2013 (PST) - Changing Leadership Dataman here. Founder of LVXUG.Com. I'm starting to feel like Omega Man, perhaps one of the very few XNA Chapters still open. Anyhow, different writing style, different person. Was contacted by the owner of XNAWiki, awesome guy. Just no time to keep the thing updated anymore. So, LVXUG is going to take on the task. LVXUG was recognized as holding the first formal XNA User Group meeting in the world. We are still meeting in Las Vegas, NV, USA, working on some awesome projects. I bring 13 certifications and over 35 years programming experience to the task. Jason, my Vice President, worked with the Unreal Engine in its early stages, And is a really amazing resource. With no support for XNA in Windows 8 or Visual Studio 2012, We are still stuck in Windows 7 and 2010. Absolutley no idea where that is going to leave us with the XBOX 720. So, feast today, for tomorrow we may die! And heck, VB6 never died, it still lives on and on and on....
06:07, 23 May 2012 (CEST) - Overhaul in progressBeginning an overhaul of contents with a focus on updating to XNA 4. Most articles will be revised and code examples will likely be revamped. I have taken the initiative and created a couple templates that will likely be useful in this process.
